Coaching Conversations with Tim Hagen, where we teach leaders and managers how to coach their employees. This is the ideal podcast for leaders, managers, and aspiring leaders to improve their coaching and leadership skills to create a more positive coaching culture within their teams.
In 2025, we're doing weekly podcasts on various coaching topics and strategies that will rotate throughout the month, as opposed to 2024 where the weekly episodes featured a monthly theme. Coaching Conversations will continue to have four episodes per month and we're going to sprinkle in masterclasses, which will be lengthier, workshop-style formats.

This podcast teaches 5 specific strategies for new managers to build and sustain trust with the entire team as well as each individual on the merits of some of the most fundamental mistakes associated with trust building almost every manager has made. With That being said, building trust in establishing honesty is not an easy thing to do . The number one strategy taught within this lesson is go to the source. New managers cannot get tangled up in peoples inadequacies and lack of willingness to have direct conversation with one another where there's discord; ultimately, trying to bestow the ownership on the new manager to settle the issue . This is a dangerous place for new managers to be especially when trying to establish trust. The other four strategies provide specific steps that can be taken to build and establish trust with the team.
