Speaker 1:

Welcome to coaching nudges. What are coaching nudges? Coaching nudges are small video, text-based quotes, suggested actions that are sent in small amounts on a regular cadence. Let me give you an example. We built an attitude coaching nudge for a team that was really struggling during a difficult time and we started to send out these nudges to their desktop and to their cell phone, asking them go do a random act of kindness, go do something to inspire somebody who is somebody that's struggling right now, that might need that cup of coffee or soda put on their desk just to make their day.

Speaker 1:

Now. This sounds corny, it sounds cliche, but let's be candid. People show up at work to do what, to do their work. We don't show up saying who do I go inspire? I've got to go inspire someone, I got to find someone who's in trouble or might be struggling. We don't think that way until we're prompted. See, when you ask somebody a question who's somebody that could use a dose of positive energy, and what are you going to do Right there, a person's mind starts to think differently.

Speaker 1:

Now, if they're not prompted, what happens? They just go about their day and do their work. They just go about their day and do their work. So coaching nudges is about driving action in the workplace, specific to a topic, whether it be being a better teammate, finding your motivation, presenting a positive attitude, showing up your best self, whatever it is. What we've done here at Progress Coaching is we've built out a whole library of topics that allow us to send messages on an automated basis, with a simple registration to people's desktop and cellular devices. Coaching nudges is a great reinforcement strategy for learning, for training, for workshops, for seminars, you name it. I hope you're intrigued. Start a coaching nudge program.
